Partners in complex, mission-driven healthcare work

Arden Impact Consulting partners with healthcare organizations navigating complex grants and operational demands. Our clients often manage multiple funding sources, regulatory requirements, and cross-functional teams — and need experienced support to keep everything aligned, efficient, and compliant.

We work with organizations that are growing, restructuring, or managing complex grant portfolios and need clear systems, reliable processes, and experienced guidance. Our approach is practical: organizing what exists, addressing gaps, and establishing structures that can be maintained by internal teams.

Clients engage Arden Impact when they need senior-level expertise without adding permanent staff — and when clarity, compliance, and continuity are essential.

What colleagues and partners say

"Ms. Espinal has been instrumental in the success of our programs — at every step from conceptualizing and fundraising to implementation and evaluation. She is deeply grounded in grant writing, budgeting, operations, and community engagement. She is equally effective in the boardroom, clinic, and community. My programs and patients have benefited tremendously from her expertise."

Alwyn Cohall, MD Professor of Public Health and Pediatrics
Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University Irving Medical Center

"I worked with Maria Espinal for over a decade as both a supervisor and colleague across a division supporting more than 50 community-based programs. She was instrumental in advancing health equity through strong funding strategy, systems development, and community engagement. Maria built grant and legal infrastructure that strengthened compliance and sustainability and led an infectious disease program that achieved 20% growth."

Andres Nieto, MHA Senior Director, Division of Population and Community Health
New York Presbyterian Hospital

"Her leadership, expertise, and extraordinary dedication to program development, patients, and the larger institution was instrumental in the growth and development of multiple clinical programs. Her ability to bring much needed structure to complex processes, train and inspire a workforce, and identify new opportunities for clinical growth, revenue enhancement, and grant opportunities was unmatched and broadly recognized."

Peter G. Gordon, MD Associate Professor of Medicine-Infectious Diseases · Medical Director, Comprehensive Health Program
Columbia University Irving Medical Center / New York Presbyterian Hospital

"Maria has a rare ability to lead across teams while balancing mission, compliance, and day-to-day realities. Maria consistently brought structure, strategic direction, and operational excellence to every initiative.
